History and Location
At Tecnoras S.A., we have been manufacturing hard metal (tungsten carbide) and steel tools for cold forming metals since our founding in Cornellà de Llobregat in July 1987. In 1999, we moved to our current location in an 800 m² building in Sant Boi de Llobregat, just a few kilometres from Barcelona Airport and close to major transport links.
Our goal is continuous improvement to meet our customers’ needs. To achieve this, we rely on a team of 20 technically well-trained people, as well as modern machinery with the latest manufacturing processes, close collaboration with our suppliers of raw materials (hard metal and steel) and services (heat treatments and coatings), and careful quality control.
Most of our customers are suppliers to the automotive industry and manufacturers of fasteners, tubes, metal containers, and, in general, processes requiring high-precision tools. Currently, more than 20% of our production is destined for export.
